Kimberly hosts the Sunday Post each week. I like to take part because it gives me an opportunity to look back at last week and forward to next week in both my personal life and my blog and book life! I also love to see what other people are doing and what books everyone is reading.
We’ve started preparing for Thanksgiving. I made Cranberry Chutney yesterday. I love cranberry sauces and chutneys. I also spent some time with my niece’s children yesterday and we made Snickerdoodle cookies. So fun!
I’m in charge of cooking the turkey, but the turkey was bought before I got any input so I have a 21 pound behemoth to cook. I already have it in the refrigerator so it will thaw in time. My favorite turkey size is 10 to 15 pounds. Oh, well I’m sure it will work out. I’m also making a wild rice pilaf which is what I make instead of stuffing. I no longer stuff my turkey when I cook it.
I’ve watched several television shows since I’ve been visiting my daughter! We watched all The Great British Baking Show: Holidays on Netflix. That was fun and since they were only one episode each that made it easy to complete. I also watched a couple police series including one called City Homicide which takes place in Australia.
I’ve added some of the fall cards I made in the last month and sent plus a sympathy card I sent a friend. It always so fun to make cards.
