Blog Ahead 2015–How’d I do?

blog-ahead-2015Blog Ahead Challenge October 1st to October 31st

Blog Ahead is over. How did I do?

My Goal

  • I would like to get at least 15 posts ahead, but I’m going to see if I can increase it to 30 posts ahead.

My Accomplishments

I ended up with 10 posts ahead. Not my goal, but I figure any posts ahead will help me and I have another 10 posts at various stages of completion so I plan to continue to increase my scheduled posts as I move forward!

Thanks, Anna @ herding cats & burning soup and Kimberly @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer for the Blog Ahead 2015 Challenge!I’m encouraged to have so many posts ready.

Blog Ahead Challenge–Oct 2015

blog-ahead-2015Blog Ahead Challenge October 1st to October 31st

I had a number of posts written ahead until summer activities and trips slowly eroded my cushion. I want to get as many extra posts ahead as I can as I know the last six weeks of the year are very busy for us with Thanksgiving, a nephew’s wedding in December and Christmas in the Midwest. Plus I have joined the Ho-Ho-Ho Read-a-Thon and Sci-Fi Month during November. So lots to do!

My Goal

  • I would like to get at least 15 posts ahead, but I’m going to see if I can increase it to 30 posts ahead.

Blog Ahead: the end and the beginning

blog-ahead

This blog challenge is hosted by Anna @ Herding Cats & Burning Soup blog. The idea is to have at least 30 extra pre-scheduled blog posts at the end of November. The challenge begins on November 1 and continues until the end of November. It’s a blogging version of National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) which also takes place during November.

  • Blog Ahead has ended and I didn’t get as many posts ahead as I had hoped, but I do have some ahead and I did have the complete week of Thanksgiving planned ahead so I could enjoy my family during the whole week.
  • I’m going to continue to work on getting ahead on my posts. I hope to have at least 20 posts ahead by the end of December and plan to keep working until I’m at least a full 30 posts ahead. . . and then stay at least 30 posts ahead!

What I did:

  • By the end of November I have an extra 10 posts scheduled now for December and even into January. I also have several posts begun and I just need to finish and schedule them. All in all, I’m pleased with my progress!

Thank you, Anna, for hosting this. This got me started and I plan to keep it up! It’s great to have posts written and scheduled!

  • I have a calendar and have some posts planned for mid-November through December.
  • I’m going to try to write at least one post a day for most of November, however Thanksgiving week is busy for me so some of my pre-scheduled posts will probably post this week. However, by the end of November I want 30 extra posts planned and ready to go!
  • I hope to write several posts during the week of Thanksgiving!
