Can’t Wait Wednesday is hosted by Tressa at Wishful Endings. This is a weekly meme to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. The books I choose aren’t released yet and usually won’t be published for at least two or three months. So I have a while to wait!
I love finding out about books set to publish in future months and I like to share my excitement about the books. I also like to find out about new books on other people’s blogs and hope they’ll sometimes find something to look forward to on my blog.
I’m excited to read . . .

Series: Mercy & Elvis Mysteries #3
Published by Minotaur Books
Publication date: March 30
Genre: Mystery
336 pages
Synopsis: Some people take their secrets with them to the grave. Others leave them behind on their deathbeds, riddles for the survivors to solve.
When her late grandfather’s deputy calls Mercy to his deathbed, the former MP and her sniffer dog Elvis inherit the cold case that haunted him–and may have killed her grandfather. But finding Beth Kilgore 20 years after she disappeared is more than a lost cause. It’s a Pandora’s box releasing a rain of evil on the very people Mercy and Elvis hold most dear. Most at risk may be her grandmother, and Mercy and Elvis must team up with Vermont Game Warden Troy Warner and his search-and-rescue dog Susie Bear to save her from the man who murdered her husband, who’s escaped from prison and is now out for revenge.

A series about a former MP and her bomb sniffing dog. I really enjoy reading about them as well as the search-and-rescue dog Susie Bear in this series. And the books take place in beautiful Vermont. I also love a book with a dog on the cover!
I have got to start this series! I’ll read anything with a dog companion, especially a working dog😁
