Kimberly hosts the Sunday Post each week. I like to take part because it gives me an opportunity to look back at last week and forward to next week in both my personal life and my blog and book life! I also love to see what other people are doing and what books everyone is reading.
Personal life
I’m having fun in Indiana with my daughter. We did a mini road trip south of Indianapolis last Sunday and it was so much fun. Beautiful area with rolling hills, lots of trees and autumn leaves. The leaves had mostly fallen from the trees, but it was still pretty. Apparently it’s a very popular area in October when the leaves are changing and still in the trees.
I’ve worked on cards during the week while my daughter is at work as well as doing some cooking. And taking the dogs out and throwing lots of balls! There was snow one day during the week and then it got very cold–down towards zero degrees Fahrenheit. It’s warmed up a little and with the sun the snow has melted.
This weekend my older daughter is visiting as well as a cousin and her teenage daughter. The teenage daughter is playing soccer with her team so a group of us relatives are watching her play both days. Brings back memories of my kids playing soccer. Both the games we are watching she has played inside in a huge complex with three indoor fields!

Enjoy your lovely family time in Indiana. I have card-making stuff and it is unpacked but I am too caught up in quilting at the moment to do any. As cold as it is, I’m glad to hear the soccer is inside. It is cold here but not THAT cold. Have a lovely week!

Oh, I can understand wanting to keep quilting, Anne. I love quilts, but my sewing prowess isn’t so great. My grandmother made beautiful quilts and I’m lucky to have several of them.

Thanks, Sarah. I haven’t had very much opportunity to listen to The Giver of Stars, but so far it’s really good.

The weather has been cold. It’s warmer the last few days, but still chilly and damp (in the 40’s). I’m glad you enjoyed Giver of Stars and I hope I get a chance to listen to some more of it soon.
