That Artsy Reader Girl has hosted Top Ten Tuesday since January of 2018. This is a fun meme with specific topics each week. If you like to make lists and talk about books be sure to check it out.
This week we’re talking about books with numbers in their titles. It was fun to find these books and remember reading them!
Read in the last Ten years

The First Eagle by Tony Hillerman
The First Chill of Autumn by W.G. Gingell
Just One Damned Thing After Another by Jodi Taylor
One Fell Sweep by Ilona Andrews
Second Street Station by Lawrence H. Levy
The Twelve Clues of Christmas by Rhys Bowen
Ready Player One by Ernest Cline
Split Second by Kasie West
The Twenty-four Days before Christmas by Madeline L’Engle
First Grave on the Right by Darynda Jones
Teenage reads
Just for fun I made a list of books I remember reading as a teenager:
- 1984 by George Orwell
- Catch-22 by Joseph Heller
- A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens
- Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury
- 4:50 from Paddington by Agatha Christie
- The Big Four by Agatha Christie
- Nine Coaches Waiting by Mary Stewart
Have you read any of these books? Did you do the Top Ten Tuesday topic this week?
Would you ever want to reread any of these titles?
My TTT.

I seldom reread books, but the Agatha Christies are ones I would read again since it was so long ago that I read them the first time.

Great list! I’ve read Ready Player One and most of the books from your teenager list. 🙂 And I think The First Chill of Autumn looks really good.

It’s amazing how many books have the word “one” in the title, right?

I was really surprised when I looked through my books on Goodreads that there were so many, Tammy.

I just realized how many Agatha Christie books have numbers in them!

The Agatha Christie books are the first place I looked for numbers since I remembered a few titles. But you’re right there are lots of them with numbers.

I love how you divided this up! I was surprised by just how many books have numbers in the title and how many I’d read!

I was surprised also, Katherine. You did a great job with your TTT since you found 1-10 with books you’d read. I was just happy I could find 10 books with numbers I’d read from the past 10 years!

A really solidly good list of books – who knew numbers featured so heavily in book titles? The two that particularly jump out at me are Just One Damned Thing After Another and One Fell Sweep, which I both loved:)

I loved those two books, too, Sarah. Until I started searching for books with numbers I didn’t realize there were so many either.

Ohh, more than a couple of titles here are new to me — Split Second cover in particular is very cool!

Split Second was really good and I realized when I looked at it that I never read the second book in the series. I might go back and try it.
