Kimberly hosts the Sunday Post each week. I like to take part because it gives me an opportunity to look back at last week and forward to next week in both my personal life and my blog and book life! I also love to see what other people are doing and what books everyone is reading.
Cooler this week. I especially loved the cool mornings (55-60 degree range all week). I think hotter weather is on it’s way. That’s what a Midwest summer is all about!
Travel in the Midwest
I spent most of the week in Indiana with one of my daughter’s. We had so much fun together. On Friday we drove to Iowa to spend the weekend with our family. We’re going to celebrate a retirement and celebrate a life lived well.
We’re driving home on Sunday evening, then leaving again on Thursday for a long weekend in northern Wisconsin.
RAGBRAI (The Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa)
A group of my sister-in-law’s family rode this year in RAGBRAI. I’ve never done RAGBRAI, but a number of my husband’s family have ridden in it through the years. In recent years the organizers have had to limit the size to 8,500 bicyclists since it’s gotten so popular.
A few posts done this week including a review of a book I read in February for Booker T’s Farm “They Call It Puppy Love” Challenge. It was such a fun book.
