2018 books I meant to read but haven’t yet

Top Ten Tuesday originally created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. This is a fun meme with specific topics each week. If you like to make lists be sure to check it out. I haven’t joined in too much lately, but plan to participate more this year.

Have you read any of these books? How did you like them?

What books did you miss reading in 2018?

Author: Jan

I love to read--especially mysteries, science fiction and fantasy. I also love blogging, photography, gardening, playing Mah Jonng, reading with a cat on my lap, throwing a ball for a dog, creating cards to send to family and friends, reading book blogs, using my computer.

  1. I’ve never heard of most of these series, but they sound really fun. It looks like you are ahead in some of them. Even if it’s scary to add series ’cause sometimes it’s hard to finish them, I will definitely add some of these to my TBR.
Hope you are able to get to these books this year! 🙂

    1. I’m reading many series and it can be hard to keep track of them, but I enjoy reading series since I like learning more about the main characters. I hope you enjoy some of these if you start them.

  2. I haven’t read any of these but I love the cover for Stars Uncharted and Spinning Silver sounds really good!
I hope you get a chance to read them this year. 🙂

  3. Backstabbers is one that I really meant to get to but completely forgot about it! I love the Mulhern series. I really enjoyed Four Weddings and Maybe a Funeral. I hope you’re able to get with some of these soon!

    1. Yes, I meant to read Backstabbers when it came out, but forgot about it, too. The same goes for Four Weddings and Maybe a Funeral. Glad to hear you liked it, Katherine. I’m trying to fit all these books into my schedule!

  4. OK I LOVED Exit Strategy ***** and Stars Uncharted and The Calculating Stars. Spinning Silver was also a 5 star read (listen) for me.

I haven’t heard of many of the others. I hope you get to all the ones you want and enjoy them!

  5. I thoroughly enjoyed The Consuming Fire, The Privilege of Peace, Into the Fire and Spinning Silver – and I also wanted to read The Calculating Stars… Have a great 2019 reading year:)

  6. I adored SPINNING SILVER. And STARS UNCHARTED was a really engrossing and fun SF – I *think* the authors have a sequel out later this year.
