Sunday Post: October here I come!

Kimberly hosts the Sunday Post each week. I like to take part because it gives me an opportunity to look back at last week and forward to next week in both my personal life and my blog and book life! I also love to see what other people are doing and what books everyone is reading.

Cool weather this weekend–highs only in the 50’s with rain.

I love Autumn and I always feel like October is the beginning. Leaves start turning color, weather is cooler, sometimes there are storms, there’s Halloween.

A busy week

I’ve put extra blankets on the bed this week plus found warmer clothes to wear. I’m also sorting things to get rid of some of my clutter. That seems to be a neverending problem.

During one of our rainstorms this week a water main broke in front of our driveway. Part of our driveway and sidewalk were dug up most of the week, but I think it’s finally fixed. This is the second time this year a water main has broken in front of our house!

Two of my  kids are visiting this weekend. My son is moving and brought some of his things to store in our basement for a while. My older daughter is also visiting and will drive him back to pick up his car. It’s always good to see both of them and they’re also helping my husband and me with some projects.

We’re watching Dancing With the Stars (on Hulu) and Death in Paradise (on Netflix) as well as too much news.

A busy week–just not so much on my blog. I wrote a review and then lost it. That made me mad (mostly at myself for not saving it while working on the review). But it made me so mad I had to stop using the internet for the rest of the day! And I still haven’t rewritten that review.
