Kimberly hosts the Sunday Post each week. I like to take part because it gives me an opportunity to look back at last week and forward to next week in both my personal life and my blog and book life! I also love to see what other people are doing and what books everyone is reading.
Home
We got home last night and I planned to write my Sunday Post last night, but instead I went to bed at 7:30. Just too tired to think! When I got up this morning I started the post, but my allergies kicked in. I took a benadryl and that knocked me out for several hours. So…..this must be the Sunday Afternoon Post!
Only home for a day in the last three weeks!
As the title says I’ve been away from home for a while. I’ve been in eastern Iowa with my husband to help get his dad’s house ready to sell, to Illinois to visit my older daughter and to Indiana to help my younger daughter get settled after she moved to Indiana in July.
That meant a lot of driving plus staying places that sometimes didn’t have internet. Sometimes when there was internet I was too busy and/or too tired to use it.
The Indiana fence
My husband and I went to Indiana over the Labor Day weekend and stayed for a week. The fence got built in less than a week. And it’s beautiful and very functional. Now my daughter’s dogs have a place to run and explore. And my daughter has a private place to sit, enjoy her yard and dogs.
While my husband and daughters worked on the fence I spent the time inside emptying boxes and putting things away.
Autumn weather, but will it continue?
I love that the weather is cooler here in Iowa than what we had in Indiana. The entire time my husband and daughters worked on the fence the temps were in the 90’s with high humidity. It was miserable for them. While we were gone Iowa had lots and lots of rain. The rivers are really high. However, the grass is green again and the temps will be in the 70’s this week. That sounds wonderful!
Blog
I scheduled a number of posts for the time I was gone so I some reviews and other posts got published, but I didn’t manage to answer the people who came to my blog and commented. Now that I’m back home I want to get back to a routine of visiting other blogs, see what you all are up to and leaving some comments.
I have some more reviews written. I just need to proofread them and get them scheduled. I’m glad I’m slowly getting caught up on reviews.

Oh my goodness, it was downright CHILLY here in the Detroit area today! I’m in LOVE!! We have a few days of 70s – but then back into the 80s (boo!)
Have a great reading week!

Your daughter is lucky to have you. How nice you helped get them settled I feel you on being tired and allergies can wipe you out. Hope this week is restful

The fence looks great and the dogs appear to be loving their yard! That’s a lot of work and traveling. Hopefully you’ll find some time to relax and enjoy one of your books:)

The fence is fabulous. Sounds like you have been very busy. We’ve been having some rain here, but still nice and warm
