Kimberly hosts the Sunday Post each week. I like to take part because it gives me an opportunity to look back at last week and forward to next week in both my personal life and my blog and book life! I also love to see what other people are doing and what books everyone is reading.
Home and Blog
My husband worked in the yard again this week and I helped a little. We got a pump for the pond so that is now burbling along. He built a fence around our large backyard in the spring. There was one small section where our neighbor has a chain link fence and my husband decided he wanted to have our own wood fence to look at instead of chain link so he’s working on that now that it’s cooler. He also bought bricks to extend our patio plus we still need to put in a flowerbed for the many bulbs I’ve ordered!
We’re taking care of my daughter’s dogs this weekend while she’s gone so they spent the whole day Saturday outside while my husband worked. Of course, Juneau (yellow lab) was constantly trying to get my husband to throw the ball for her!
Television
We watched the first two episodes of Star Trek: Discovery this week and we enjoyed it. We’ve watched several episodes of Vietnam also.
Blogging
I had my October books post done, but then forgot to post it! It has been a busy week and I haven’t gotten much blogging done. But I’m still working on it . . . .

Books I got this week
The Found and the Lost: The Collected Novellas of Ursula K. Le Guin by Ursula K. Le Guin
What did you do last week? What did you read? What books did you collect?
That sunset in your pics was pretty! We are going to be building a fence/big pen so our dogs can have a place to run around and I won’t worry about them getting lost since they are small. 🙂
Have a great week and happy reading!

Thanks, Stormi! I hope the pen for your dogs goes well. It’s good to take care of our pets, isn’t it?

Thanks, Evelina! It’s been awhile since I’ve read anything by Ursula Le Guin, but she’s such a good author and this sounds like a great collection.

We’ve only watched the first two episodes and I haven’t made up my mind yet. It’s not like any other Star Trek series I’ve watched.
