This is a great meme to take part in every week and I thank Kimba for hosting it!
I like this meme because it gives me an opportunity to take a look back at last week and forward to next week in both my personal life and my blog and book life! I also like to see what other people are doing and what books everyone is reading.
Last Week–home and blog
Beautiful weather! In the 70’s and even up to 80 last week. Of course, I was inside packing boxes most of the time, but when I did get outside it was wonderful. Our crocus are blooming and the grass is greening up. We’re supposed to stay in the 60’s and rain next week so that will help everything grow.
The blog
Working to get posts written ahead as our move gets closer. I know I won’t have too much extra time the latter half of March.

Good luck with all the packing! We are ruthlessly giving away/throwing away things we seem to move along with us every time we do, but have not yet packed anything and I if I think of it, I’ll get too stressed. I have my blinders on for now, lol.
Glad you are going to read The Lost! It was such a good read for me, and The Dead Ground next. You get a realistic taste of how difficult it is to live in an area where you are all the same people, but divided by cultural/religious differences.
You should read the Molly Smith series by Vicki Delany, if you haven’t done so already. I love that one and it’s a cozy, I guess, but a serious one, not humorous.
Have a good week, and I look forward to your post about why you started blogging 🙂

We’ve given away and thrown away quite a lot of stuff, but as the boxes stack up I realize how much we still have. I’m hoping as we unpack we will continue to get rid of more things. Good luck to you getting rid of stuff, too, Rita!
I’m so glad you liked The Lost. I’m looking forward to reading it. And I’ve read the first two books of the Molly Smith series. I really liked it–had to keep myself from reading more of the books so I could spread them out a little!

Wow you’re making good progress looks like! It got in the low 70’s here on Tuesday but that’s as warm as it got- the rest of the week was 50’s but still nice, considering.
White Heat looks interesting.

We’re having very changeable spring weather here, Greg. One day it’s windy and 50 degrees and the next it might be in the 70’s with thunderstorms!
