This is a great meme to take part in every week and I thank Kimba for hosting it!
I like this meme because it gives me an opportunity to take a look back at last week and forward to next week in both my personal life and my blog and book life! I also like to see what other people are doing and what books everyone is reading.
Last Week–home and blog
New year 2016!
For last year’s words belong to last year’s language
And next year’s words await another voice.
― T.S. Eliot, Four Quartets
My husband and I went out to dinner on New Year’s Eve, but we were home early and in bed before midnight!
Television
We caught up on TV shows we hadn’t watched in the last couple of weeks. We also watched all the episodes of The Expanse that are available now and watched the science fiction mini series Childhood’s End which aired in mid December on the Syfy channel. It was adapted from the book by Arthur C. Clarke.
The blog
I’m working on end-of-year posts as well as posts for the new year. I even made an infographic to illustrate my reading summary for 2015. I still have a number of reviews to post for books I read in 2015.

We’re going to New York City to visit our son and see a few theater shows at the end of the week. We’re looking forward to that. But I have quite a bit to do to get ready. We’re taking the train round trip so that will be fun.
