Sunday Post: Sep 13

Sunday-post-updatedThe Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

I like this meme because it gives me an opportunity to take a look back at last week and forward to next week in both my personal life and my blog and book life! I also like to see what other people are doing and what books everyone is reading. This is a great meme to take part in every week and I thank Kimba for hosting it!

Last Week

Home & blog

It was hot and humid most of the week (mid 90’s several days), but we finally got some rain at the end of the week and then some cooler, less humid days. Yay!

I’m happy the Fall season is starting for TV. One of the shows that started last week is The Great British Baking Show on our PBS station. We saw part of last season’s show last year and we are happy to find it on again this year. This show is a lot of fun. I liked the judges, the hosts and contestants from last year and the judges and hosts are back this year. I don’t watch many cooking shows, but I like this one a lot.

We went to the Chesapeake Bay on Monday and had lots of fun. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time. On the way to take our friend to the airport on Tuesday we stopped in Annapolis for lunch. Another beautiful day.

Next Week

Home & blog

My son’s birthday is this week and we’re going to NYC to see him next weekend. It will be so good to visit him. We haven’t seen him since June.

I will be working on my blog during the week trying to get a bit ahead. Also I’m hoping to get a bunch of reading done!
