Sunday Post: Aug 2

The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

I like this meme because it gives me an opportunity to take a look back at last week and forward to next week in both my personal life and my blog and book life! I also like to see what other people are doing and what books everyone is reading. This is a great meme to take part in every week and I thank Kimba for hosting it!

Last Week

I’ve spent some of the week getting blog posts ready for the time we are in northern Wisconsin since we won’t have internet service plus we won’t have any time! I should have had more posts done ahead, but I don’t. I’m going to get this post done as much as possible before we leave and then schedule it for Sunday morning. I won’t be able to add it to Kimba’s list. I also won’t be able to answer comments or visit other blogs, but I will do that once I return from the wilderness!

We hope to leave Friday around noon (it’s about a 9 hour drive) and return Monday evening. Lots of fun activities–lots of swimming and boating. Plus we have a wedding shower on Sunday. Everyone pitches in to help with one meal and my daughters and I are doing Sunday morning breakfast. We’re making Swedish Pancakes! They are yummy.

One of my nieces invited us to stay with her so I’m excited about that. (This is the niece who got married last March and she’s the reason we went to Ireland a couple of weeks later with 30 of our relatives!) So excited to see them again.

Home & blog

We’re coming back home Monday evening. My daughter has meetings all the rest of the week at work including in the evenings so I will be here to take care of her dog. Can’t wait–Bailey is a sweetheart! And then I’m staying the next week so we can do some fun things together!
