The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
I like this meme because it gives me an opportunity to take a look back at last week and forward to next week in both my personal life and my blog and book life! I also like to see what other people are doing and what books everyone is reading. This is a great meme to take part in every week and I thank Kimba for hosting it!
Last Week
Home & blog
I’ve been tired all week so I don’t feel like I did much. Not much on my blog, not too much reading, not much else! My husband got home from his business trip on Friday and we’ve got a three-day weekend. We spent Saturday working in the yard–planted a tree and two new flowerbeds.
Oh. . . I forgot to schedule my post. 😦 I got so immersed in my book–Ready Player One–which is ironic since it’s all about an immersive game! I also see I forgot to answer comments or visit blogs last week. I think mentioned I was really tired!

My husband is going on another trip, but this time he’s driving so I’m going with him. It’s been awhile since we’ve been on a road trip so I’m looking forward to our time together even though he will work during the day.

What books did you collect last week? What are you planning next week?
A road trip sounds fun! We haven’t taken one in ages either but definitely could use one. I’ve been wanting to get the audio for Ready Player One. I’ve heard Wil Wheaton narrates it and I’ve heard great things about the book. Have a great week!

I’m looking forward to the road trip. My husband likes to drive and I like to read while we drive so it works perfectly!
I read the ebook version of Ready Player One and I felt immersed in it (and loved it). So I think the audio version would be even more that way. I just listened to Wil Wheaton narrate Lock In by John Scalzi and loved that.

I know what you mean about being tired! I didn’t get much blogging done this past week. You’ve been busy with all that travel; it’s no wonder you’re exhausted! Maybe you can get some rest on your trip with your husband. And I guess Ready Player One must be really good, if it kept you from remembering to schedule a post! Have a great weekend and rest a bit!

I hear you on being tired, I hope you get a chance to rest. A road trip sounds fun and you can play (or read) while your husband works. 🙂
I hope you’re enjoying Ready Player One. I’ve seen it around but don’t know much about it. Happy reading!

I was really tired this past week too and couldn’t seem to get to all of the posts and comment. My inbox just seemed to grow and grow. LOL Hope you are well rested and enjoy your long weekend:)

I think everyone was tired this week, Lynn. Must have been something in the air–or maybe we’re all trying to do too much! Although I didn’t do too much on the Internet. . . lol

I can totally believe Ready Player One sucked you in enough to cause delays in doing anything else – It’s totally that kind of book!
