This challenge is hosted by Hot Listens and The Book Nympho blogs.
I’ve fallen in love with mysteries again in the last few months. I used to read lots of mysteries so I’m really enjoying getting back into mysteries again. When I saw this reading challenge I decided to participate to encourage myself even more!
I’m going to try to read at least 15 books–the Flavia de Luce level.

Goodreads Challenge
I plan to join the 2015 Goodreads Challenge. Last year I challenged myself to read 100 books and I read 102 books! This year I’m challenging myself to read 110 books.

Library Challenge
I love libraries. When I was a child our local library was my favorite place to go on a Saturday morning. Every place we’ve moved through the years one of the first things I’ve done is get a library card.
However, in the last three years I’ve read e-books and though I’ve gotten a few e-books from my library I didn’t read paper books during that time unless they were nonfiction. Last fall I wanted to read newer books, but they were often too expensive. I decided to try getting the new books from the library and I’ve been reading “real” books as well as e-books since then.
I’m signing up for the Seasoned level– 17-22 books.
This challenge is hosted by Sheila @ the Book Journey blog. Check out the details on her blog.

TBR Challenge
I have lots of books I’ve bought and haven’t read yet. In this challenge the idea is to pick one book each month, read it and review it on the third Wednesday of each month. This challenge is hosted by Wendy @ The Misadventures of Super Librarian. Wendy provides a list of the monthly dates and suggested themes. However, you can read any TBR book and post comments or a review.
TBR Pile Challenge
This challenge is hosted by the Bookish blog. The books for this challenge must have a copyright of 2014 or before. Check out their blog for more info.
There will be a wrap-up post on the 25th of every other month and read-alongs in the months without wrap-up posts. There are also give-aways so check out the Bookish blog to find out all about this challenge.
I’ve signed up for the 31-40 book level–Sweet Summer Fling.

Ultimate Reading Challenge
Now this challenge sounds like a lot of fun! It is hosted by Popsugar. Popsugar isn’t a book review blog. They talk about a lot of other things than books, but they do have some posts about books. And the Ultimate Reading Challenge has a great list of genres, eras and lots 0f other fun types of books to read. I doubt I will get completely through the list (50 different types of books), but it will be fun to try. Be sure to check out the list on the Popsugar blog.

I’m also participating in the Winter Coyer (Clean Out Your E-Reader) Challenge which runs from December 22, 2014 to March 6, 2015. I’ve already posted info and my sign-up for this challenge.
I might sign-up for another challenge or two, but this is what I’m planning for now. Check out my Reading Challenge Pages through the year (links at the top of my blog) for information about how I’m doing with these challenges.
Are you signing up for challenges for 2015? Which ones are you trying?

As usual I’m doing the Goodreads challenge and this year I’m also doing the Audiobook Challenge. I tend to add more as I go along during the year π
Not that you need more on your plate, but have you ever checked out Worlds Without End’s challenges? They have some fantastic ones every year, a couple years ago I did their Women of Genre Fiction challenge (read 12 books by female authors you’ve never read before) and it’s one I strive for every year now.

I think it’s really cute that the mystery challenge levels are named after detectives/mystery protagonists. Flavia is super adorable! Ive never participated in a book challenge before (aside from the Goodreads challenge), but I’m also thinking about doing the Popsugar book challenge. It seems like a good way to just read more widely in general, which I’ve had some trouble doing this year.

I agree, Danya! The Popsugar challenge sounds like fun. I need to spend some time thinking about some specific books for that challenge.
