Sunday Post: Nov 23

rp_sundaypostmeme13.jpgHappy Thanksgiving to everyone who celebrates!

The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

I like this meme because it gives me an opportunity to take a look back at last week and forward to next week in both my personal life and my blog and book life! I also like to see what other people are doing and what books everyone is reading. This is a great meme to take part in every week and I thank Kimba for hosting it!

Last Week

What books did you collect last week? What are you planning next week?

Author: Jan

I love to read--especially mysteries, science fiction and fantasy. I also love blogging, photography, gardening, playing Mah Jonng, reading with a cat on my lap, throwing a ball for a dog, creating cards to send to family and friends, reading book blogs, using my computer.

  1. Have a great Thanksgiving and safe travels! I’ve heard Dreamer’s Pool is very good and it’s always nice to see older sci fi, I do enjoy seeing those old paperback covers. 🙂 A Regency Christmas II looks like a good holiday read…

    1. Thanks, Greg! I really liked Dreamer’s Pool. And the old Heinlein was so fun and I’m hoping to read some more Christmas books.

  2. Have a great time at your family gathering for the holiday. We live too far from family so we usually either get together with friends or go out. This year we’re going out.

I found challenges stressful last year so I don’t think I am doing any. Have a great holiday.

    1. We do have a great time when we all get together. There’ve been Thanksgivings when we’ve been too far away to get together with our families, too.

I can understand about challenges being stressful, Steph. I have to be careful about not getting stressed, too.

  3. Happy Thanksgiving to you too!
I’m really wanting to read Have Spacesuit Will Travel. It just looks and sounds so fun.
As for blogging ahead. I was doing good until WordPress shut me down. Now my blog is back up and I’m playing catch up. LOL Now the holidays are looming and it looks like getting ahead will have to wait until next year.

  4. Enjoy your travels and have a safe Thanksgiving! I’ll have to go look for that Mary Russell Companion book. I love the series but am several books behind. Looking forward to your next Crombie review!
