No Sunday Post–The Maine Edition

I’d planned to to do a Sunday Post* yesterday, but we got back from our trip and I needed some time to recuperate from the vacation…LOL. We had so much fun in Maine. The company of my sister-in-law and brother-in-law was wonderful and the yummy food. bright blue skies and gorgeous scenery all combined to make a great trip.

Here are a few photos from the Portland Head Light we visited the first day. This is the oldest lighthouse in Maine and it’s automated now.

The Sunday Post returns next Sunday at its regular time!

I love to read--especially mysteries, science fiction and fantasy. I also love blogging, photography, gardening, playing Mah Jonng, reading with a cat on my lap, throwing a ball for a dog, creating cards to send to family and friends, reading book blogs, using my computer.

  1. I used to live in Boothbay Harbor for several years from 2000-2005. We did a lot of day trips while living there and recommend the state to anyone who can get there for a great relaxed vacation. There is so much natural beauty and outdoor activities to do! Thanks for sharing your memories.

    1. We stayed in the Boothbay Harbor area, Rita! Always so surprised when someone mentions a place I’ve been. Maine is a beautiful state.
