Sunday Post: Oct 5

The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

I like this meme because it gives me an opportunity to take a look back at last week and forward to next week in both my personal life and my blog and book life! I also like to see what other people are doing and what books everyone is reading. This is a great meme to take part in every week and I thank Kimba for hosting it!

Last Week

Home & blog

I have a number of books from the library and even read some of them! I’ve been in the mood to read mysteries.I used to read lots of mysteries, but haven’t read many in recent years. Suddenly I’ve decided I want to read more and I started a new series and read and read!

I think Lark @ The Bookwyrm’s Hoard first told me about Deborah Crombie’s mysteries. (BTW, go by and visit her new blog. She has moved to WordPress! Yay!)

I had the first book in the series as an audiobook so I listened to that and I’m hooked! This week I’ve read the first four books in the series and started the fifth! I plan to read more mysteries and certainly more Deborah Crombie, but I also plan to keep reading fantasy and science fiction.

I was so busy reading I didn’t do much on my blog. I forgot to post my review, but I plan to post two reviews next week!

We are taking a quick trip to Maine at the end of the week to visit my husband’s sister and family. It should be a fun trip. I may not get a Sunday Post done right away next Sunday since we are coming home that day.
