The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
I like this meme because it gives me an opportunity to take a look back at last week and forward to next week in both my personal life and my blog and book life! I also like to see what other people are doing and what books everyone is reading. This is a great meme to take part in every week and I thank Kimba for hosting it!

Both my husband and I are leaving again this week. This has been a busy summer so far. We’ve done a lot of traveling not all of it planned at the same time! I’m off to Iowa to spend time helping my daughter. She’s getting a puppy toward the middle of August and since she works I’m going to help get the puppy off to a good start. But first, she and I are off to northern Wisconsin to meet up with relatives for a family gathering the first weekend in August. My son and both daughters are coming, but my husband is off to Oklahoma on business since he has to work. 😦

What books did you collect last week? What are you planning next week?
Have a good trip — I would go for a puppy too! What fun!

Wow, no kidding about all your travelling! You’ve been jet-setting across the US all summer. Trips like those are lovely but sometimes when I come home I feel like I need a vacation after the vacation. Time to just relax and veg out a bit, you know? I’m sooo excited for you to read Omens! Have you read any other Kelley Armstrong books? This one is pretty different from her others but it still has that Armstrong awesomeness.

That’s true, Danya–sometimes we need a vacation from our vacation! Luckily, spending time with my daughter is fun and it’s like a second home. I read Bitten when it first came out years ago. I think it was the first werewolf book I read! I think I’ve read a couple others and am looking forward to Omens.

Endurance sounds good, I haven’t read that account before but I’ll bet it’s fascinating, i’ll have to look into that one. Have a great week.

Wow, you’re traveling non-stop! I don’t know that I could handle that much traveling but it is good to see family and your daughter’s very lucky that you’re willing to come and get her puppy off to a good start. Hope she knows it 😉 I’m off to read your Splintered review, I read it recently and didn’t love it but since you’re reading Unhinged now I’m guessing you liked it so I’m curious to see your take. Happy travels!

You’ve been busy! I love puppies and it’s definitely best to have someone at home with one in the beginning. Hope you have a great time. I have The Escape and have picked it up a couple of times but have yet to get involved in it. I have River Road too and am looking forward to reading them. Look forward to seeing what you thought of them. Have a great week!
