The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
I like this meme because it gives me an opportunity to take a look back at last week and forward to next week in both my personal life and my blog and book life! I also like to see what other people are doing and what books everyone is reading. This is a great meme to participate in every week and I thank Kim for hosting it!
Around the house
We flew into Chicago on Saturday morning and the weather was cold, but not too bad. However, the rest of the weekend and the beginning of the week are going to be very cold as the cold weather dips down into the United States again. We saw our daughter who is living south of Chicago briefly. She just got a job in central Illinois so she moved on Saturday. She’s continuing with her Master’s program, but mostly online. She’s liking the job so far so that’s great and it was fun to see her for a few minutes.
We drove on to Iowa and all the snow was beautiful though it was also blowing across the road. Our younger daughter met us there and it was fun to see her as well as my father-in-law and my husband’s brother and sister-in-law. It snowed a little Saturday night and our daughter left early this morning to drive back home since the weather is supposed to get colder and windier as the day goes on. My father-in-law is pretty well housebound when it’s so cold, snowy and icy so he enjoys getting some company and it’s nice to see him.

We leave the Midwest on Tuesday so we have a short week at home. It’s supposed to be cold again when we get back to Maryland. I’m interested to see how much of our snow is left in the brief time it was above freezing!
