The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
I like this meme because it gives me an opportunity to take a look back at last week and forward to next week in both my personal life and my blog and book life! I also like to see what other people are doing and what books everyone is reading. This is a great meme to participate in every week and I thank Kim for hosting it!
Last two Weeks
Around the House
We’ve had lots of cold weather (it is winter!), but also had a few days in the 60’s. A few snow flurries and lots of rain.
Lots of birds coming to our bird feeders…I love watching all the different birds we have. This last week we’ve had lots of red-winged blackbirds which are a bird I really like, but until we moved to Maryland I never saw them in such flocks. We have flocks of 50 or more red-winged blackbirds coming to our feeders! They clean them out, scare away the other birds and then leave for awhile. I’m not too fond of the huge flocks, but the birds also showed up last year and left after about two weeks so I hope that happens this year!
Blog
I finally moved my blog to a self-hosted site–notesfromareaderolic.com. I have so much more to do on the blog, but at least it’s moved. I spent most of the last two weeks working on the blog and was quite frustrated at times! 😦  Sometimes I get stuck in the weeds and that happened quite a bit the last couple of weeks…lol. Plus I missed posting the Sunday Post last week.

Audible books bought
I’ve signed up for the Audible Deal of the Day at Amazon Audible and have an email sent to me each morning. I don’t know if this is available to anyone outside the United States, but it’s a pretty good deal (if you want the book!)
This book cost $3.95 which isn’t too bad for an audio book. I’ve read the book before, but look forward to listening to it plus this is a series I’ve fallen behind with so I’m thinking of re-reading (or listening) to some.
…And one of my reading challenges for the year is to listen to some audio books this year.
Slave to Sensation by Nalini Singh (audible version)
Next Week
Around the house
I need to pick up, clean our house, do a little organizing and spend less time on my blog! Next weekend my husband and I are traveling to Iowa to visit his dad. I’m going to stay a little longer and visit our daughters. I can’t wait!
Posts on the blog
I’m focusing on posting the last of my 2013 reviews. I also plan to tweak my blog a little, but limit the amount of time I spend each day.
