Sunday Post–August 4

The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

A chance for me to review my last week and plan the week ahead…

Last Week

Around the House

I didn’t get a Sunday Post done last week since we were in the Cascade Mountains in Oregon last weekend. We had a wonderful time in Oregon and Washington on our vacation, but by the time I got home this week I was exhausted! I’ve been catching up on sleep and enjoying not having lots of stuff to do everyday.

Li from Me and My Books blog posted some links in her latest post including one for an interview with Marko Kloos who self-published a book–Terms of Enlistment–this last spring. He had attempted to go the traditional route by sending his manuscript to publishers and agents, but no one was interested. He finally decided to self-publish and had success with that route. He has since gotten an agent and a publishing contract. The interview is very interesting as he talks about his book and the self-publishing process. Terms of Enlistment is one of my favorite books I’ve read this year.

Next Week
