The rest of the year . . . most anticipated books

June 9, 2015 2015, Top Ten Tuesday 10

toptentuesday2Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted at the Broke and the Bookish blog. Each week a different topic is introduced and it is fun to see what everyone writes each week. Check out their blog for more information.

This week we talk about the books we’re most excited about for the rest of the year…the books we didn’t know about when we created a similar post last December. I added 12 more books to my rest of the year books! And I already have five books for the period from June to the end of the year from my original books.

The rest of the year books I listed in my Dec 2014 post:

Uprooted by Naomi Novik (June–I’ve read this book and love it!)

Magic Shifts by Ilona Andrews (July)

The End of All Things by John Scalzi (July)

One Good Dragon Deserves Another by Rachel Aaron (July)

A Red Rose Chain by Seanan McGuire (September)

What books are you most excited about for the rest of the year?

I’m also very excited for White Hot and Tower of Thorns! I think I gave five stars to both series’ openers, actually. Although I’m sorry to say that the publication date for White Hot has been pushed back – I guess IA is having trouble getting it done to her satisfaction, so it should be coming out Winter 2016.

I have an ARC of Murder of Mages and hope to get to it this month. I do love a good urban fantasy and hope this fits the bill. I absolutely love the cover of the Juliet Marillier book, it’s almost as great as the first one. Great list!
