October books on my list

October books on my list

October 6, 2016 2016, books on my list . . . 2

I don’t buy all these books since I already have lots of books to read and I feel lucky if I get 10 books read each month. But the list I make each month helps me not forget books. The Goodreads links help me keep track of the books. I hope people reading my post may find some new books to interest them… Read more »

The Ho-Ho-H0 Read-a-Thon is hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer and Jennifer @ The Book Shelfery. November 14, 2015 2015 6

I want to celebrate the Ho-Ho-Ho Read-a-Thon with an easy cookie to make while reading your holiday books and drinking tea, coffee or hot chocolate! I love making Christmas cookies though I don’t make as many as I used to when our kids were still at home. This is a recipe I’ve made most years since I found the recipe. The recipe is from a 1990’s Christmas cookie magazine. One of the reasons I like the recipe is that the cookies are easy to make. It’s fun to make intricate Christmas cookies which are rolled out and cut into shapes, but sometimes it’s nice to have a cookie that tastes… Read more »
