Sunday Post: Sep 14

September 14, 2014 2014, Sunday Post 15

The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

I like this meme because it gives me an opportunity to take a look back at last week and forward to next week in both my personal life and my blog and book life! I also like to see what other people are doing and what books everyone is reading. This is a great meme to take part in every week and I thank Kimba for hosting it!

Last Week

Home & blog

I came home this week after being gone for six weeks! While I was gone I went to a family reunion and then helped one of my daughters with her new puppy. I had a great time, but it’s also great to be home. I missed my husband (and my cats)! My husband wouldn’t pose for a photo so I’m posting pics of the cats! Yes, I’m happy I’m home! (Though I’ve spent a lot of time sleeping–the puppy wore me out…LOL.) By the end of the week it cooled off and I’m hoping Autumn is here. I’m ready for cooler days and colored leaves.

Our son’s birthday is on Monday so we took him to lunch in DC on Saturday. It was great to see him.

I didn’t read much this week (I was sleeping!) I got a few things posted on the blog–tried a new meme…Waiting on Wednesday…that I plan to participate in sometimes.

Next Week

Home & blog

I have lots of family and friends who have birthdays in the next couple of weeks so I need to make birthday cards for them. I want to read some more and listen to my audiobook from the library.

You must be glad to be home! I just checked out Andrea K. Host– I love to find out about new-to-me authors. Cute photos of your cats (I have a small posse of felines also).

It’s great to be home. Thanks for the nice words about my cats! Elf is a calico, of course. Scorch is part Siamease. She was much whiter when she was a kitten, but her markings keep getting darker as she gets older. They’re all great.

Hey glad you’re back, and I’ll bet your cats were glad to see you too. They probably wondered where one of their staff members had gone off to. 🙂 Hope you havea great week- I have Lonbourn in print form and may get to it one of these days.

It’s monday so happy birthday to your son 🙂 I guess the cats showed you their backs when you came home, they’re good at making us feel when we’re away and not able to serve them ! Enjoy your book haul and have a great week.

I can’t imagine how glad you are to be home after being gone so long! No matter how happy you are or how much fun you’re having there’s nothing quite like getting home to your own space! Love the cat pics – Elf and Scorch have such fantastic coloring and I have a grey cat that looks almost identical to your Katzi! Great books this week! The Fowler book looks interesting. I love Deborah Crombie but have yet to try her books in audio form. Hope you love it. Have a great week!
