Sunday Post–November 24

November 24, 2013 2013, Sunday Post 12

The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kim at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

I like this meme because it gives me an opportunity to take a look back at last week and forward to next week in both my personal life and my blog and book life! I also like to see what other people are doing and what books everyone is reading. This is a great meme to participate in every week and I thank Kim for hosting it!

Last Week

Around the House

Karen and I have had lots of fun in Des Moines. Even though she worked each day we managed to go out almost every evening and do something. I went with her to her book group one night and that was lots of fun. She has only lived here since June so she’s still finding her way around, but she’s got a great start!

Next Week

My husband and I head to eastern Iowa on Monday to help his dad get ready for Thanksgiving. The family has come to Iowa for Thanksgiving for over thirty years so there are many traditions! It’s always fun to see family members I haven’t seen for the past year or so.

I’ve heard good things about that Ilona Andrews series, but I haven’t gotten a chance to start it! Sounds like you had a good week!

    Happy Thanksgiving!

The Inconvenient Duchess by Christine Merrill looks interesting, so cool you went to book club with your daughter. Enjoy your Thanksgiving and travel safe 🙂

I read The Inconvenient Duchess a few years ago; I’ll be interested to see what you think.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving celebrating with your family! 30 years or more of tradition — I love it!

The Thanksgiving celebration is loads of fun and lots of activities planned–a little different each year. I hope your Thanksgiving is wonderful, too.
