The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

I like this meme because it gives me an opportunity to take a look back at last week and forward to next week in both my personal life and my blog and book life! I also like to see what other people are doing and what books everyone is reading. This is a great meme to participate in every week and I thank Kimba for hosting it!

Last Week

Around the house

A busy and wet week. We got lots of rain on several days. On Friday we left for a long weekend…to Chicago to attend our niece’s graduation party and to Dayton, Ohio to visit friends. This was a quick trip–home Sunday evening. It was a fun weekend.

I’m posing this Sunday evening after we got home from our trip. Still wanted to get it done!a

Next Week

Around the house

My sister-in-law is visiting with a friend who has never been to Washington, DC. We’re looking forward to their visit, but I have to get some more cleaning done before they arrive…LOL. They leave Saturday afternoon and I’m flying back to the Midwest to help my younger daughter finish moving into her house. I plan to help her unpack boxes and give moral support!

I don’t know how much I will get done blogging or reading other blogs this week, but I hope I get a couple of books read and schedule some reviews!

I’m liking it pretty well. I like the main character and that’s always a good thing for me! I read some of her last series and enjoyed that series…just haven’t gotten back to it to finish. This book reminds me a little of Holly Black’s The Coldest Girl in Coldtown which I liked a lot. I’m still waiting to see where this book is going. Yeah, busy week!
