Sunday Post–April 13

April 13, 2014 2014, Sunday Post 15

rp_sundaypostmeme13.jpgThe Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

I like this meme because it gives me an opportunity to take a look back at last week and forward to next week in both my personal life and my blog and book life! I also like to see what other people are doing and what books everyone is reading. This is a great meme to participate in every week and I thank Kimba for hosting it!

Last Week

Around the house

We are back home. Spring is here–trees, daffodils and forsythia blooming, sunny, warm days this week. The cherry blossoms are at their peak this weekend in Washington, DC. I hear they’re beautiful, but we’ve stayed away because of the crowds of people. We’ve seen them in past years and they are beautiful.

I didn’t get my post up about our Europe travels. 🙁 I’m waiting for my daughter to check it out, but she’s had a busy week and wasn’t able to. I hope she blesses off on it today so I can add it to the blog! Here is one of my photos from a castle we visited near Dublin!

Around the house

My husband is out of town on business all week and I have lots of picking up and cleaning to do around the house. I’m also hoping to do more reading and blogging this week.

I don’t ever really enjoy when Husband goes out of town without me, but I do like him being out of the house long enough for me to get some good cleaning done. There’s just something about an empty house and cleaning!

It’s a little sad to say, but when hubbies/bf are not here, things get done so quicker and so much better, huh ? We’ll wait some more for the pictures, that’s ok. I went to Dublin a few years ago and loved it ! Hope your week will be great 😉

Luckily, my husband is usually only gone for a week at a time. It must have been hard having your husband gone for 3-4 weeks at a time. Thanks for coming by, Jenea!

Looking forward to your vacation post, and the castle looks great. Dublin sounds like a fantastic destination from what I’ve heard.

I read Green Rider a few years ago, and liked it. Hope you enjoy it as well. I understand there are a couple of sequels I probably should track those down…
