My goals for this read-a-thon:

  • At least one review of a Christmas book. I just read The Heart of Christmas by Brenda Novak so it’s not eligible as one of the books I read for the read-a-thon, but I want to have at least one review of a holiday book during the read-a-thon
  • Read at least one holiday book or several short stories
  • My list of possible books:
    • Mistletoe Mysteries–stories collected by Charlotte MacLeod
    • Shakespeare’s Christmas by Charlaine Harris
  • Write review and post it before the end of the Ho-Ho-Ho Read-a-Thon
  • Participate in at least one challenge
  • Tweet my progress
  • Participate in the Twitter Party on Sunday

Thanks! Usually the only holiday-themed books I find are Christmas books. I’ve seen Valentines and Halloween books, of course, but not really other winter holiday books besides Christmas. I’m probably not looking in the right places. I do remember reading a book years ago to my kids about a Jewish girl (the only Jew in her class) coming to terms with all the Christmas celebrations at her school.
